I contacted Carolina Self Storage explaining what we needed to store. Jasmine emailed back quickly with what size unit would be right, and specials they had going on. It was a simple sign up online, as well as finishing paperwork at the office with Jasmine and Camille. The property and unit was clean and the perfect size for what we need. Security is impressive with coded entry and exit, and they will sell you a nice hefty disc lock for $13. I would not hesitate to recommend Caroline Self Storage.

She patiently answered all my questions and went through all the details in a relaxed manner. I changed into a bigger unit right after purchasing the original one. The process was smooth and easy and I feel totally confident and comfortable storing my stuff there. Security seems more than adequate. Really wonderful company that made my belongings feel safe and secure. Reserving my unit was quick and easy, and I received a walk-through with very clear instructions when I arrived. Carolina self-storage was also quick to notify me if anything regarding my unit was out of order, so I felt very safe keeping my belongings there. While it's hard to have a unique experience at a storage facility, I really felt like this was indeed a unique experience in that CSS feels very caring and local. I definitely recommend this business to others and will definitely go to this facility again if I need storage in Bellingham.

First it is a superior physical storage facility--heated and unheated units keep property in good condition year round and as secure as can be. But the managers and staff of Carolina Self Storage make it The Best. We have worked with them for two years now dealing with difficult move. Recently, we had to consolidate a smaller and larger storage unit (significantly reducing our payment to Carolina and our fourth change in our contract) in a short time frame during a week of Arctic temperatures at the very end of the year to meet a budget goal. The staff helped us in everyway that they could including on site Uhaul van rental and sharing their garbage disposal bin when we got to literal crunch time. We made it with two minutes to spare--but found our car battery was dead from using lights to work past sunset.. Carolina managers then helped us jump our battery in the freezing cold and wished us a Happy New Year with a smile--really. We have used several other storage providers over a big move--all OK. But the folks at Carolina Self Storage are The Best--very efficient operation and truly empathic hearts.Ten Stars

Today I had a great experience getting a unit same day. I spoke with Camille on the phone and all the details relaid were the same as in person, no surprises. I received a tour, detailed instructions on my access code and security as well as top-notch customer service. Thanks again Camille and Josh! I would highly recommend this storage facility. You can get 7 Day Access from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., heated units, locks to purchase onsight as well as great interaction with the staff!

This place is great! When you have to store your belongings and can't keep an eye on them yourself, this place feels secure, really well kept and cameras always running. The staff is professional, friendly, accommodating and human. They walk the property on a regular basis and their presence just feels like more buffering from nonsense. Also, I checked around before renting here and the prices are better than average. That, the central Bellingham location and the overall, excellent facility, makes this a five star for me.
